The Nevada Community School District is looking TWO Food Service General Workers to join our team at NCSD!
This position begins as soon as possible with hours from 7am-2pm Monday through Friday. Training will be provided. Responsibilities
• Assist in cooking, preparing and the serving of daily meals from the planned menu • Assist with cleaning and following food safety procedures • Ability to assist in filling out proper production records and food safety logs • Maintain compliance with federal regulations regarding all School Lunch Programs • Interact with all personnel, students, building patrons, federal/state inspectors, vendors and delivery persons with a positive can do attitude. • Ability to operate all kitchen equipment • Must be able to lift 30 lbs and stand on your feet for long periods of time • Check in students at meal service on POS system • Prepare lunch account deposits • Perform other duties as assigned Education / Experience
• High school diploma / GED • Food service experience preferred • ServSafe Certification - Recommended, but District will provide paid training to obtain after 6 months of service. All interested applicants should contact Emily Hansen, Director of Nutrition Services, at [email protected].
