CLASSIFICATION: Non-Affiliated Administrator (AN) Status: Full-Year, Part-Time (Hourly, Non-Exempt) Contract: Non-Affiliated Administrator - Contract Addendum A Reports to: Chief Academic Officer-Secondary Non-Affiliated Administrator Benefits & Health Insurance This position is a full-year (250 days + 10 paid holidays), part-time (20 hours/week) position within the Communications Department. The base wage for 2026/27 is $24.29/hour and is eligible for a degree, longevity (based on previous public school experience in a similar position), and technology stipend. General Summary: The Marketing Specialist is responsible for assisting in efforts within the Marketing & Communications Department by providing administrative support to both departments. The Marketing Specialist reports to the Chief Academic Officer-Secondary. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support TCAPS' marketing and communications initiatives and schedules, including assisting with the development of marketing and communication materials such as brochures, newsletters, posters and digital content.

• Create engaging content on social media and monitor interactions, and evaluate analytics for ongoing success.

• Perform website editing to ensure accuracy and ADA compliance.

• Manage donor relations, sponsorships, and community partnerships.

• Maintain organized records of donations.

• Attend events on behalf of the department and district.

• Proof content for accuracy and in alignment with communication standards.

• Work on projects as assigned by the supervisor.

• Maintains acceptable and reliable attendance.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

• Degree or professional experience in communications, marketing, or public relations.

• Experience in social media marketing and advertising.

• Strong writing and editing skills with keen attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and in a team setting.

• Ability to be proactive and collaborative in a team setting.

• Must have a good command of the English language in order to provide effective phone, desk-side, and email support and communication.

• Must have the ability to listen and effectively communicate information and ideas to a diverse population.

• Ability to work irregular hours as needed.

• Ability to prioritize and multitask.

• Dependable, reliable, and protective of sensitive/confidential information.

Physical and Mental Requirements:

• Must be able to report to the office and maintain punctual attendance.

• Regular use of computer and other office equipment.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of student information.

• Occasionally move supplies weighing up to 20 lbs.

• Ability to drive to various locations throughout the district.

Environmental Conditions: This is a largely sedentary assignment, with most of the duties performed on a computer or phone in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Work Schedules: 20 hours per week with occasional evening and weekend hours.This is a year-round position. Background Checks: The individual selected for this position will be required to pass a criminal history background check.
