LEOMINSTER PUBLIC SCHOOLS CTEi After-School ML Tutor (Multilingual Learners) Location: CTEi (Center for Technical Education Innovation) Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 2:15 PM – 3:30 PM Program Dates: October 1, 2026 – May 28, 2027 Position Type: Part-Time / After-School Funding Source: Kendall & Grant-funded Position Overview The CTEi After-School Multilingual Learner (ML) Tutor will provide dedicated academic and linguistic support to multilingual students. The primary focus of this role is to help students understand core content assignments, develop English language proficiency across listening, speaking, reading, and writing, and build effective study habits in a supportive environment. Key Responsibilities
• Academic Support: Assist multilingual learners with daily homework, technical course assignments, and subject-area content.
• Language Development: Implement targeted strategies to build students' academic vocabulary and English language comprehension.
• Student Engagement: Create a welcoming, encouraging, and culturally responsive learning space that fosters student confidence.
• Progress Tracking: Communicate regularly with classroom teachers or program coordinators regarding student attendance and academic growth.
