POSITION: Middle School Boys Basketball Assistant Coach REPORTS TO: Athletic Director at Josiah Bartlett Elementary School SEASON: Mid-November to Late February SCHEDULE: Daily practices, with weekly games starting in December SKILLS REQUIRED: The Josiah Bartlett Elementary School is looking for an Assistant Coach for the 2026-2027 Middle School Boys Basketball season. The assistant coach would work side by side with the head coach. Previous coaching experience preferred but not required. Coach will be responsible for team activities including all scheduled practices and games, adhere to district policies, rules and objectives. Coach will lead by example among the team and participants. Focus will be on personal development, skill development, safety, fair play, sportsmanship and working to establish and improve team and program. Candidates should be dependable, detail oriented, willing and able to both lead and delegate within a coaching staff atmosphere, meet or be willing to complete all Bartlett School District some NHIAA requirements, able to travel with the team to and from home and away games. CPR/First Aide certification required but will train if needed. SALARY RANGE: Stipend paid at the conclusion on the season.
