About this role
The Special Education Tutor would be responsible for providing tutoring services to students at their home or providing services to students with an Individulaized Education Program (IEP) who attend a private school located in Barnstable. Job Responsibilities include: * Providing in-person tutoring services in accordance with the student's IEP. * Providing progress reports periodically throuhgout the year as delineated in the IEP. Qualities of a Successful Candidate include the abilities to: * Provide reliable, consistent support wtihin an agreed upon schedule * Travel to the student's home or school * Maintain a tutoring log for each student and their attendance. * Monitor progress towards the IEP goals and benchmarks. Desired Qualifications Include: * Degree in Special education * Masters Degree (Preferred)
