About this role
This position will be based in Dublin 8. Summary of duties: Create a positive approach to children so that each child is encouraged to develop confidence and self-esteem Communicating calmly and effectively with children Assist children with their homework Prepare food for children Setting simple, clear limits and boundaries for children and ensure that these are followed Supporting Team Leaders and other members of the team Organizing activities for the children Cleaning and ensuring that the afterschool environment is maintained to a high standard To participate in training relevant to the role of Afterschool Worker Adhering to relevant health and safety as well as child protection procedures Otherwise assist as directed QQI Childcare Training provided.
