The post holder will provide operational leadership for Portering & Security staff, ensuring appropriate deployment of resources, maintenance of service standards, compliance with Trust policies and procedures, and effective management of staff performance, attendance, training and development. Person Specification
Education and Qualifications Essential
Evidence of supervisory or management training or equivalent experience
Desirable
IKON - restrain and physical intervention training ILM Level 3 or Level 4 Leadership and Management qualification
Knowledge and Experience Essential
Previous supervisory or team leader experience Experience of dealing with difficult, challenging or potentially aggressive situations
Desirable
Experience of working in an NHS environment
Skills and Knowledge Essential
Ability to manage competing priorities and respond effectively to changing demands Good communication skills Good organisation skills
