Job summary
We are pleased to advertise a vacancy for a full time, Band 8b Property Strategy and Utilisation Lead - Oldham & HMR.
You will provide strategic support and operational leadership to a portfolio of properties in Oldham and Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale (HMR).
The role aims to ensure that local properties support neighbourhood health services by providing safe, fit-for-purpose accommodation and optimal space use.
Main duties of the job
Core responsibilities include contributing to strategy and master planning, shaping business cases, overseeing the property portfolio and ensuring it is value for money, relationship building with partner public sector organisations, and compliance and assurance.

Qualifications Essential
Master's degree or equivalent job-related experience in healthcare planning/healthcare facilities Evidence of continuing professional development
Desirable
Programme management qualification
Professional registration Desirable
Chartered membership of an appropriate institution (e.g. RICS) or equivalent
Knowledge, training and experience Essential
Evidence of managing a large property portfolio, including the negotiation of leases and licences, and delivering value for money Knowledge of lease management Experience working at a senior management level in a large organisation Able to manage multiple and complex projects Experience of developing alliances and partnerships within and across organisations
Desirable
Knowledge and experience in applying best practice programme and project management methodologies Experience and knowledge developing and maintaining a property database
Skills and abilities Essential
