Job summary We are looking for an experienced Resourcing Manager to join us on a 1 year fixed term contract basis to lead the delivery of a high-quality, efficient end-to-end recruitment service. This is an opportunity to shape how we attract, select and onboard talented people while developing a capable team and continually improving the experience of candidates and recruiting managers.
Main duties of the job
Working closely with recruiting managers, senior leaders and colleagues across HR & OD, you will:
Lead and oversee multiple recruitment campaigns from initial briefing and attraction through to selection, pre-employment checks, offer and onboarding.Build trusted relationships with stakeholders, understanding their workforce needs, offering credible advice and constructively challenging where appropriate. Lead, motivate and develop Resourcing Advisors and Coordinators, setting clear expectations and managing workloads, quality and performance.Advise on effective routes to market, candidate attraction, advert writing and selection approaches. Use recruitment data, dashboards and stakeholder feedback to identify trends, demonstrate performance and improve the service.Ensure recruitment activity is fair, inclusive, compliant and delivered in line with relevant employment checks, policies and our PEER values.Support improvements to recruitment systems, processes, employer value proposition, and candidate experience.

We are looking for an experienced Resourcing Manager to join us on a 1 year fixed term contract basis to lead the delivery of a high-quality, efficient end-to-end recruitment service. What we are looking for
To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate strong experience in the following areas:
Stakeholder management: A proven ability to build effective and credible relationships with recruiting managers and senior stakeholders. You will be confident listening, influencing, managing expectations and providing clear, practical advice, including when priorities compete or a constructive challenge is needed. End-to-end recruitment: Substantial experience of personally managing and overseeing several recruitment campaigns at the same time, from role scoping and attraction through shortlisting, selection, offer, pre-employment checks and onboarding. You will understand what creates an excellent candidate and recruiting manager experience. Curiosity and continuous improvement: An inquisitive approach and a willingness to ask thoughtful questions, explore what the evidence is showing and understand why processes work—or do not. You will use insight, feedback and data to identify better ways of working rather than accepting established practice at face value. Team leadership: Experience of organising, supporting and developing a busy operational team to deliver consistently high standards against agreed priorities and performance measures. Sound judgement: The ability to manage complex or sensitive recruitment matters, balance risk with service needs and reach fair, well-reasoned decisions. Customer focus: A commitment to providing a responsive, professional and inclusive service that meets the needs of candidates, managers and the organisation. Digital and analytical capability: Confidence using applicant tracking and HR systems, management information and recruitment data to monitor performance and inform decisions. You will ideally hold, or be working towards, a CIPD Level 5 qualification or be able to demonstrate equivalent relevant experience.

Our Claims directorate is responsible for managing a total of ten indemnity schemes covering clinical and non-clinical legal liabilities of NHS organisations in England and independent sector providers of care to NHS patients.
The NHS Resolution Claims Management function has embarked on a transformation and expansion programme with a vision to deliver a single, integrated claims function, with a supportive organisational structure that avoids duplication of effort and allows teams to develop their skills.
