About this role

Job summary

Are you an organised, proactive, and detail-oriented professional with a passion for clinical education? We are seeking a Clinical Education Business Support Manager to join the CTM Clinical Education Academy, playing a key role in supporting the effective delivery of education across healthcare professions.

This position provides essential project and operational support across a broad range of activities within the Clinical Education Academy. You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure efficient programme delivery, effective funding allocation, and contribute to the achievement of strategic objectives.

Main duties of the job

Provide project support for service improvement initiatives and operational planning. Monitor, analyse, and report on activity levels and waiting times, ensuring data accuracy and timely reporting to stakeholders. Oversee and coordinate rota planning and issue resolution. Line manage administrative and clerical staff, supporting their development and ensuring high standards of performance. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance operational efficiency and excellent patient care. Welsh Skills Desirable: This post is advertised as Welsh Desirable. This doesn't mean essential; whilst the candidate doesn't need to have skills in Welsh, we'll consider it an advantage when short-listing and selecting candidates. This isn't 'fluency', just Speaking & Listening skills at Level 3 (equivalent to CEFR B2) or above. Level 3 means basic conversations with patients about their everyday health. Person Specification

Experience Essential

Experience of working within the NHS. Experience of collecting, collating, analysing and presenting waiting list information/data. Experience in the use of electronic systems/databases.

Knowledge Essential

Staff or project management knowledge.

Desirable

Knowledge of targets.

Qualifications Essential

Qualified to Degree level or equivalent knowledge and experience or training Postgraduate Diploma or equivalent level of skills, knowledge and experience

Desirable

Project Management qualification. Management/Leadership qualification.

Communication skills

Presentation skills Welsh language skills in Speaking/Listening at Level 3 or above

Skills and Aptitude Essential

Customer care focus and confidence in dealing with client information. Report writing skills. Presentation skills. Keyboard skills with familiarity of Microsoft office software e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
