Job summary
An exciting full-time, one year fixed term opportunity has arisen within our Community Nursing Team as a Band 4 Business Support Lead, working with colleagues with who support the care delivery of patients in their own homes.
The post holder will provide a confidential and comprehensive administration service to support the Community Nursing Team, presenting a professional image at all times. You will assist in the smooth operation of all general office functions to ensure an efficient and good quality service to patients and contribute to the achievement of efficient service delivery.
On occasion there will be an expectation to provide efficient and effective administrative cover for other close-by bases.
The role is based at Hillcroft House in Thatcham.

Main duties of the job
The Business Support Lead will involve a high level of organisational skills and excellent working knowledge of administrative procedures and IT systems used within the Trust. The post holder could be the first point of contact for the services and therefore requires clear communication and liaison skills. Be responsible for managing and prioritising their own workload and will be required to use their own initiative. To work as a member across the administrative team providing extensive administrative support to the to the team and be responsible for the effective management and efficient working of non-clinical aspects of the Service in accordance with all Trust policies and procedures Be an active and dynamic part of the administrative team. The post holder will be responsible for supporting the delivery of service objectives for the Service. To seek improvement of administrative policies and procedures, where opportunities exist, within services and across the Cluster, providing co-ordination of activities to support change, working autonomously and using own initiative.
