QualificationsResumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position. A qualified candidate must possess the following: Demonstrated work experience related directly to the catering or food & beverage industry. Possess prior customer service experience. Knowledge and experience of basic computer skills and software including but not limited to: Word Processing, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint. Ability to learn catering management software. Major DutiesAssists the Lead Caterer with large-scale event center catering and banquetoperations while progressively taking on additional responsibilities to perform thefull duties of a Caterer.Communicates with prospective clients, provides package details, handles billing and payments, and assists in assessing needs and planning events.Assists the caterer in coordinating with staff and protocol offices and supports event execution through light setup, decoration, and cleanup.Utilizes catering software and Microsoft Suite products to draft Party work sheets, contracts and maintain Customer Relationship Management contacts.Maintains a positive attitude, demonstrates a willingness to learn and performs other duties as assigned.
