About the Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Industrial Ammonia Refrigeration Technician to join a growing team supporting an industrial facility in Brighton, CO.
This is a plant-based position where you’ll be stationed at one industrial facility long-term rather than traveling between multiple customer sites. You’ll be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing large-scale industrial ammonia (NH3) refrigeration systems and related equipment.
What You’ll Do
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair industrial ammonia refrigeration systems
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on refrigeration equipment
• Troubleshoot and maintain compressors, pumps, valves, piping, and related components
• Identify mechanical and refrigeration system issues and complete necessary repairs
• Monitor system operation to support safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations
• Respond to equipment issues and help minimize system downtime
• Follow established safety procedures and refrigeration system protocols
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities
What We’re Looking For
• Hands-on experience with industrial ammonia/NH3 refrigeration systems
• Strong mechanical and refrigeration troubleshooting skills
• Experience working with industrial refrigeration equipment and components
• Ability to diagnose problems and perform repairs independently
• Strong understanding of safe work practices in an industrial environment
• Ability to work effectively in a plant-based setting
