About this role
BONFE – INSTALL COORDINATOR
$26-$29/hr | Full-Time | On-Site | South Saint Paul, MN
The Installation Doesn’t Start When the Crew Arrives. It Starts With You.
At Bonfe, our installers perform at their best when the schedule, information, materials, customer expectations, and follow-through behind them are right.
We are looking for an Install Coordinator who thrives at the center of a moving operation—someone who turns competing priorities into clear next steps, communicates before people have to ask, and owns work from sold job through completion.
This is not a traditional administrative role. It is a high-visibility operational seat with real influence on customer confidence, crew productivity, completed revenue, and the future of how Bonfe coordinates installation work.
What You Can Expect:
• Competitive Starting Pay $26-$29/hr, based on experience + bonus potential
• Health Benefits. Medical and dental coverage with a 100% Bonfe-paid premium option after 60 days, plus optional vision coverage.
• 401(k) Match. A generous company match after six months of employment.
• Paid Time Off. Time to recharge, reset, and take care of what matters outside of work.
• Paid Development. Paid training, ongoing coaching, and professional growth opportunities.
• Career Growth. A role designed to evolve, with future pathways across dispatch, operations, and trade leadership.
Who We Are:
Founded in 1993, Bonfe is a family-owned business dedicated to helping homeowners with residential plumbing, heating, cooling, drain clearing, and electrical services. You’ve probably seen our trucks and our ads, but what you may not know is what it’s like to be a part of a team like this. We treat you like family and help you see what it means to be appreciated and to have a place to belong. We inspire ongoing training and education so that you can do your best work without cutting corners.
Be part of an organization which bases growth and future goals on a set of core values that include trust-based relationships, high ethical standards, and always providing superior customer service. Our business has been designed around making the lives of our customers easier, more enjoyable, and stress-free.
People often come to us looking for a job, they stay with us because they find a fulfilling career, room to grow, opportunities to excel, AND MORE!
What We Do:
We are a team of home service experts who go the extra mile to ensure peak performance for your home’s plumbing, heating and air conditioning, and electrical systems.
We DELIVER on our Core Values:
• PLAY TO WIN
• CARE ABOUT PEOPLE
• CONTINUOUSLY IMPROVE
• DO THE RIGHT THING
What You’ll Do:
You will own the coordination hub for your trade’s installation business—keeping crews productive, customers informed, and projects moving from sold work to completed, invoiced revenue.
The day-to-day details vary across Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical, and Drains, but the five responsibilities below define success in every trade.
• Maximize Installation Production: Own the installation schedule by maximizing crew utilization, minimizing avoidable downtime, and filling available capacity whenever possible.
Align people, job readiness, materials, and timing so crews can perform at a high level.
• Coordinate the Customer Journey: Guide customers from initial scheduling through project completion with proactive, professional communication.
Set clear expectations, communicate changes early, answer questions confidently, and follow through on commitments.
• Drive Revenue Completion: Own the administrative and financial completion of installation projects. Ensure deposits and payments are addressed, required documentation is complete, invoices are accurate, and sold work becomes recognized revenue without unnecessary delay.
• Maintain Schedule and Project Accuracy: Keep jobs, technician assignments, permits, inspections, notes, materials, payments, statuses, and scheduling information accurate and current in ServiceTitan and supporting systems. Question inconsistencies and resolve missing information.
• Optimize Future Workload: Continuously manage the install backlog by pulling work forward, responding to cancellations, coordinating returns and inspections, confirming parts or material readiness, and surfacing capacity concerns before they become problems.
How You Will Make an Impact:
No two days will look exactly the same.
You may schedule an installation, solve a material or permitting gap, coordinate an inspection, update a customer, adjust a crew, correct project information, or pull another job forward.
Great performance looks like:
• Customers and crews receive clear, proactive, and actionable updates.
• The schedule reflects real capacity, job readiness, and current priorities.
• Sold work moves toward completion with fewer stalls, surprises, and handoff gaps.
• Details are accurate, open items are visible, and commitments are followed through.
• Process gaps are identified and improved rather than accepted as normal.
Key Partners:
Installation technicians and apprentices, Install Management, Dispatch, warehouse and purchasing teams, permitting and inspection partners, Finance, and customer-facing teams.
What You’ll Bring:
• A strong track record of organizing schedules, projects, customers, or operational workflows in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional follow-through and attention to details that other people rely on.
• Clear, professional verbal and written communication.
• Sound judgment, critical thinking, and the confidence to ask questions when information does not make sense.
• Comfort learning technology. ServiceTitan or similar field-service, scheduling, ERP, or CRM systems are a plus.
• High personal accountability, integrity, and the ability to work independently while winning as part of a team.
Who Thrives Here:
The right person will not simply maintain a schedule. They will learn to own the operation behind it.
• You naturally create order from moving pieces.
• You think in outcomes, not just completed tasks.
• You communicate before people have to chase you.
• You balance urgency with accuracy.
• You can deliver difficult updates with empathy and confidence.
• You own mistakes, recover quickly, and protect trust.
• You are curious, coachable, and motivated to improve.
• You adapt when the plan changes and build the next best plan.
Home-Services Experience Is Valuable—But It Is Not the Only Path to Success:
If you have successfully coordinated people, schedules, projects, or customer timelines in another demanding environment, we want to hear from you.
We will teach you our trades and systems. You bring the ownership, judgment, curiosity, and ability to learn.
