<p>Every partner we onboard opens a door: to a new market, a new capability, a new way for our clients to move money. Getting through that door means proving, in detail and at speed, that xpate is a partner worth having.</p><p>And no two doors look the same. One week it's an ICT provider where DORA sets the terms. The next, it's an AI tool that needs a proper look under the EU AI Act. Then a safeguarding bank with its own long list of questions. Each partner speaks a different regulatory language, and you'll need to be fluent in all of them, or at least quick to learn.</p><p>That's this role. You own how xpate shows up to its partners on compliance: the framework behind it, the paperwork that carries it, and the conversations that get it over the line.</p> Your role at xpate: <ul><li>Own and maintain the partner compliance framework across a mixed partner base, from ICT providers to AI vendors to banking partners, and keep it aligned with our risk appetite and regulatory requirements.</li><li>Lead onboarding hands-on, both xpate onto partner platforms and our clients onto partners.</li><li>Collect, prepare and submit onboarding documentation, questionnaires, procedures and compliance materials.</li><li>Be the main point of contact for compliance conversations with partners: RFIs, follow-up questions, periodic reviews and ongoing requests.</li><li>Work across business, risk and legal to keep onboarding and ongoing partner processes moving.</li><li>Spot where partner requirements and our internal processes don't line up, and propose something that works.</li><li>Track progress, timelines and dependencies so launches land when they're supposed to.</li><li>Build, improve and document how partner onboarding and compliance work as we scale.</li></ul> We’re ready to meet you, if… <ul><li>2+ years in compliance, onboarding, partnerships or risk within payments, fintech, banking or another regulated environment.</li><li>Confidence with compliance documentation: AML/KYC frameworks, policies and procedures, due diligence questionnaires, regulatory requirements.</li><li>The ability to run several onboardings at once without losing the thread on any of them.</li><li>Comfort switching between very different regulatory contexts, sometimes in the same day.</li><li>Writing that's precise enough for a partner's compliance officer and plain enough for a colleague in sales.</li><li>Fluent English, written and spoken.</li><li>Structure.
