Your Role at Delta Faucet:
This dynamic role is responsible for creating awareness and advocacy with trade influencers, including design professionals, architects, builders, and commercial specifiers. This is carried out through effective communication of Delta Faucet Company’s elevated brand positioning, products, and innovation stories, along with its unique service capabilities.
The primary responsibility is to fully execute and follow through on outreach efforts by managing events for the Brizo design studio in the Merchandise Mart, both in and out of the showroom. This role also includes elements of product education and quote generation. This role will contribute to servicing walk-in traffic, ensuring consistency in message and continually building awareness and preference for our brands, products and services.
Nature and Scope
The position will be charged with understanding the needs of interior designers and other specifiers, developing strategies and uncovering opportunities to build relationships, conduct training and elevate our brand.
• General understanding of the trade business and the interior design model, who our customer is and where to find them. • Must possess the ability to interact with all kinds of audiences in a collaborative manner, comfort with presenting while demonstrating passion for the content. • Can take on projects and management time effectively, while collaborating to produce outcomes in alignment with company expectations, often providing innovative and unique solutions beyond the initial scope. • Proficiency in creating and utilizing showroom systems to meet the needs of customers while streamlining internal workflows. • Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize efforts focused on the customer. • Must possess presentation, communication, collaboration, research, project management, and showroom systems proficiency.

This role is suitable for someone who is creative, has a penchant for sales and marketing, is a self-starter, and enjoys taking initiative.
• Responsible for contributing to product specifications and walk-in customer engagements, with a major focus on event planning and working with sales teams nationally to execute top-of-the-line customer experiences. • Event planning skills should include scheduling, vendor management, budgeting, registration, and other logistics related to conducting a successful event from start to finish. • Ability to develop and work with an engaged and dynamic team.
Responsibilities
• Work daily at the Merchandise Mart showroom with one work from home day as needed. • Regular showroom and offsite event participation, including industry and networking event engagement that are scheduled after traditional work hours. • Limited out of state travel for events and trade shows • Maintain and grow relationships with designers, architects, builders, developers, and other specifiers. • Provide product expertise and customer support. • Prepare and deliver presentations on brands, products, and services. • Communicate feedback and improvement opportunities. • Network within the influencer community to build awareness and relationships
Education and Experience/Skills
• The ideal candidate will possess a college degree from a four-year college or university with 5-10 years of work experience in a like or similar environment. • Education/experience in the interior design field or event planning field is beneficial and experience in the plumbing or appliance showroom segment is helpful. • Strong presentation and communication skills required. • Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, Publisher) is critical. • It is essential this individual has a strong ability to multi-task, identify needs and resolve issues immediately, as well as the ability to accomplish tasks with little direction. • This person must have a strong work ethic; demonstrate a customer focus and understanding and consistently exhibit ethics and honesty. • Candidate must have a positive, can-do and outgoing attitude that exhibits passion and optimism along with the ability to convey this passion through presentations and business relationships. • Must exhibit effective collaborative and team-building skills and exhibit a strong sense of personal accountability in working independently. • Candidate will report directly to the Studio and Education Leader.
