Labcorp is seeking an Intern – Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Singapore
Internship Details:
• Duration: at least 20 weeks, full-time (Onsite) • Dates of Internship: Jan – Jun 2027 • Compensation: Paid internship • Eligibility: Final-year students who are expected to graduate in Jul/Aug 2027 are preferred. However, students at all academic levels who are pursuing relevant fields of study are encouraged to apply.
About Team: Logistics in Asia-Pac, comprises of teams located in Singapore, Japan and China. For this internship, selected candidate will join members of Logistics Singapore team.
Logistics functions by working with transportation vendors to support daily operational and regulatory activities. Our key goal is to ensure kit supplies shipments and sample shipments are delivered in a timely manner and compliant as per latest customs requirement.
The intern will support the Asia Pacific Logistics team in designing and implementing digital solutions that improve logistics visibility, automate operational processes, reduce manual effort across multiple countries and transportation providers using Microsoft 365 technologies currently utilized within Labcorp.
Internship Assignment Summary:
• Consolidate shipment tracking data from multiple courier reports into a centralized repository and identify opportunities to eliminate manual data maintenance activities. • Develop automated data transformation workflows using Microsoft Excel Power Query to cleanse, standardize, and prepare logistics data for reporting and analysis. • Develop Excel VBA-based solutions to automate data collection, validation, report generation, and stakeholder notifications. • Implement automated data quality checks and exception handling mechanisms to improve reporting accuracy and data integrity.· Create and maintain business intelligence reports to support operational decision-making and continuous process improvement. • Design and develop Power BI dashboards to provide shipment visibility, logistics performance metrics, service trend analysis, and automated exception reporting for delayed or at-risk shipments. • Analyze logistics mailbox processes and communication workflows to identify automation opportunities and process bottlenecks. • Develop Microsoft Power Automate solutions to categorize, prioritize, route, and track operational requests received through shared mailboxes. • Design automated email generation workflows to support logistics operations and stakeholder communications. • Build standardized digital workflows that reduce manual processing, improve operational consistency, and enhance team productivity. • Measure and report productivity improvements, process efficiencies, and operational benefits resulting from automation implementations.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Current enrollment in Supply Chain, Logistics, Data Science/Analytics, Automation or AI-related Bachelor's degree program. Other degree programs can also be considered • Job is performed in an administrative environment. The intern will need to be comfortable working remotely from home, most of the time.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Able to organize data and documents effectively. • Experience using automation tools to streamline business processes. • Good communication skills when interacting with our Project Managers and transportation vendors. • Have the “can-do” and proactive mindset when resolving issues.
