*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional patient care and assisting the dental team in delivering high-quality services. This position requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping others.
*Duties*
* Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials. * Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all supplies are stocked and ready for use. * Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as directed by the dentist. * Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and treatment plans. * Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment notes. * Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a smooth workflow and high standards of patient care. * Ability to adapt and work under pressure.
*Experience* Candidates should possess experience or familiarity with the following skills:
* Proficiency in dental assisting techniques and procedures. * Knowledge of dental software systems such as Dentrix. * Understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry.
*Qualification*
* Diploma of dental assistant level 1 or 2. * IPAC training . * HIPPA certification.
