*Job Summary* We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support pharmacists in delivering high-quality patient care by assisting with medication administration, managing inventory, and ensuring the smooth operation of the pharmacy. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of medical terminology and have an experience working as a Pharmacy Assistant specially on Kroll.
*Duties*
* Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently. * Manage inventory levels, including ordering and restocking medications and supplies. * Provide exceptional patient care by answering questions and addressing concerns regarding medications. * Maintain accurate records of medication administration and patient interactions. * Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations and safety protocols. * Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes. * Perform clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and managing prescription requests.
*Experience*
* At least 1 year experience working as a Pharmacy Assistant * Work experience at another community pharmacy in Dufferin area will be an asset * Working knowledge on Kroll is a MUST * Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented atmosphere are crucial for success in this position.
