*Job Overview* Radisson Hotel and Conference Calgary Airport is looking for a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee daily cleaning operations and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cleaning, hospitality, and custodial services, with leadership skills to manage a team effectively. This role is vital in maintaining a welcoming and hygienic environment for our guests and staff.
*Responsibilities*
* Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations. * Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to maintain cleanliness standards. * Train new team members on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and customer service expectations. * Schedule staff shifts, monitor attendance, and manage workload distribution. * Address guest requests or complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction. * Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper usage and storage. * Enforce health and safety regulations in accordance with hotel policies and industry standards. * Collaborate with management to develop and implement cleaning procedures that improve efficiency and quality.
*Requirements*
* Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hospitality environments; hotel experience is highly preferred. * Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, industrial cleaning, and custodial equipment. * Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively. * Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. * Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of cleanliness. * Good communication skills to interact professionally with staff and guests. * Flexibility to work various shifts as needed; prior supervisory experience is a plus.
