*Yanda Canada is hiring Pipefitters for current projects in Alberta. We are looking for experienced, safety-focused Journeyman and Apprentice Pipefitters to join our growing team. Multiple positions are available with immediate/ongoing opportunities.*

\* 24 days on / 4 days off

*Responsibilities:* - Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems - Install, assemble, and maintain pipes and pipe systems according to specifications - Cut, thread, and bend pipes using hand tools or machines - Measure and mark pipes for cutting and threading - Weld, braze, solder, or cement joints to join pipes and pipe sections - Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges - Repair or replace damaged pipes, valves, fittings, and fixtures - Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
*Qualifications:* - Completion of a pipefitting apprenticeship program or relevant work experience - Basic math skills for measuring and calculating pipe lengths and angles - Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications - Knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations - Proficiency in using hand tools such as wrenches, saws, pipe cutters, and threaders - Familiarity with different types of pipes (e.g., copper, steel) and their installation methods - Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues with plumbing systems
Note: Experience in welding is a plus but not required.
