*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction while promoting oral health. This role requires a strong understanding of dental hygiene practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
*Duties*
* Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patient oral health. * Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. * Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. * Document patient treatment plans and progress in Abeldent software. * Assist with orthodontic procedures and provide support during pediatric appointments. * Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to infection control protocols. * Collaborate with dentists and other team members to ensure comprehensive patient care. * Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any patient concerns or questions.
*Skills*
* Proficiency in Abeldent software for patient management and record keeping. * Experience or knowledge in orthodontics and pediatrics is highly desirable. * Previous dental assisting experience is beneficial for understanding clinical workflows. * Strong customer service skills to foster positive relationships with patients. * Familiarity with medical terminology related to dentistry to ensure accurate communication. * Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in all aspects of patient care.
