*Job Summary*
Liquid Edge is seeking a skilled *Heavy Equipment Mechanic* to perform preventative maintenance and repairs on tractor trailer (tanker) units. The ideal candidate will have experience working with *Peterbilt*, *Kenworth*, and *Cummins* equipment.
Applicants must be comfortable using a tablet to run diagnostic tests and complete job documentation. A valid driver?s license is required. This role demands strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
This is an employee position. Tools are required.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical repairs * Conduct preventative maintenance on heavy equipment * Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues * Identify required parts and tools for repairs * Complete shop paperwork and documentation * Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Qualifications & Skills
* Proven experience as a heavy equipment mechanic * Experience with tanker/tractor trailer units preferred * Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks * Heavy equipment operation experience (asset) * Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail * Ability to work independently and in a team environment * Strong communication skills * Valid driver?s license * Comfortable using digital diagnostic tools and tablets
