About this role
MDC is looking for a skilled and certified full or part time Ultrasound Technologist(s) who will be responsible to perform general ultrasounds: MSK, ABD, OB/GYN, NT, Breast, Thyroid, Small Parts, vascular studies
* NT certification preferred * Vascular * Must be a registered member in good standing of CMRITO * Must be registered with ARDMS and/or Sonography Canada * Liability insurance is required * Current CPR certificate is an asset
Responsibilities:
* ensure all quality control assessments are performed as required. * greet patient, ensure patient identification, explain test, prepare and position patient for examination, obtain patient medical history * responsible for care and safety of patients within the department * maintain patient confidentiality * prepare adequate written and/or electronic reports to document all procedures and test results
