Jeffery?s Greenhouses is seeking a *qualified DZ Delivery Driver *to support greenhouse operations and product distribution. The successful candidate will work with minimal supervision, meet delivery schedules, and follow established procedures and safety standards.
This is a *permanent, full-time position* that follows the seasonal cycle of greenhouse operations, with approximately 10?11 months of work each year and anticipated periods of *temporary layoff* between seasons.
*Roles & Responsibilities:*
* Perform daily pre-trip inspections. * Safely and effectively operate the motorized vehicle and other equipment as necessary. * Adhere to instructions and ensure a timely delivery. * Perform accurate end of day driving paperwork. * Ensure the utmost customer service is provided to all customers. * Interact with staff and customers in a positive and friendly manner.
*Skills & Requirements:*
* Must possess a valid DZ license. * Must have 3 years of verifiable driving experience. * Must be comfortable working long hours. * Physically capable of moving/lifting plant materials as needed. * Current Driver's Abstract, CVOR Required.
*Hourly Rate: *
* DZ starting rate: $25.00/hr. * Benefits starting after 6 months.
*Work Authorization: All applicants must have current authorization to work in Canada and is not eligible for sponsorship. *
