About the Position
We are looking for an experienced G2 Gas Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience, with strong experience in the installation of high-efficiency boilers and hydronic heating systems.
This is a hands-on position suited for a reliable, skilled technician who takes pride in quality workmanship and professional customer service.
Responsibilities
\* Install, pipe, and commission high-efficiency boilers
\* Install and service hydronic heating systems
\* Perform gas piping and appliance connections in accordance with applicable codes
\* Read and interpret mechanical drawings and installation specifications
\* Complete start-up, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of boiler systems
\* Diagnose and resolve installation and equipment issues
\* Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with TSSA requirements and applicable Ontario codes
\* Maintain a clean and organized work area
\* Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, and other trades
\* Complete required job documentation and service reports
Requirements
\* Valid G2 Gas Technician certification in Ontario
\* Minimum 5 years of experience as a Gas Technician
\* Proven experience installing high-efficiency boilers
\* Strong knowledge of hydronic heating systems
\* Ability to read drawings and understand piping layouts
\* Knowledge of Ontario gas codes and safety requirements
\* Valid driver?s license with a clean driving record
\* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
\* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
\* Professional attitude and good communication skills
