Ramada Red Deer Hotel & Suites is looking for a reliable, capable, positive, and friendly housekeeping room attendant to join our team.
The Room Attendant will work diligently with the hotel?s housekeeping. This position will clean and maintain all corridors and public areas as well as guest rooms in accordance with all housekeeping procedures, standards, safety and security rules and regulations to ensure guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Changing bed linen and making beds. Replacing used towels and other bathroom amenities, such as shampoo and soap. Sweeping and mopping floors. Vacuuming carpets. Dusting and polishing furniture. Emptying trash containers. Cleaning public areas, such as corridors. Reporting any technical issues and maintenance needs. Updating status of guest rooms on assignment sheet. Returning and restocking cleaning cart at shift end.
Job Requirements:
Previous guest service and/or housekeeping experience preferred but not essential. Experience using industrial cleaning equipment and products. Flexible working hours; weekend and weekdays. Ability to work with little or no supervision while meeting high-performance standards. Physical mobility and stamina as repetitive motions such as bending, sitting, walking, and standing required Ability to follow instruction. Professional and polite. Flexible weekdays and weekend schedule
