Power Express is a courier service, providing local deliveries to our customers with the greater Edmonton area.
*Position Summary:*
Power Express is looking for a permanent full time employee able to drive a 2 ton flat deck truck with 30 or 40ft trailers. You will be delivering different size packages/pallets in Edmonton and the surrounding area. The ideal candidate will be flexible with working hours, physically capable of carrying multiple deliveries per day, comfortable with navigating a smartphone handheld and most importantly exhibit safe driving practices at all times. The ideal candidate will also be courteous, kind, and provide great customer service to our customers.
*Job Duties and Responsibilities;*
* Complete pre-trip inspections * Complete deliveries within specified time frames * Loading and unloading packages on the vehicle/trailer
*Skills required;*
* Excellent customer service and attention to detail * Be courteous and joyful to our client patients * Time management and organizational skills * Able to adapt to a dynamic work environment * Able to effectively navigate in highly congested traffic areas * Competent using a smartphone device
*Requirements:*
* Must possess a valid AB Full Class 5 drivers license * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Possess a smartphone * Previous courier experience is an *asset*
