*Overview* We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring property, preventing theft, and maintaining a secure environment for staff, visitors, and assets. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent observation skills, and the ability to respond swiftly to incidents. Prior experience is a plus.
*Duties*
* Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security risks * Monitor surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to observe activity and ensure safety protocols are followed * Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies, and coordinate with law enforcement if necessary * Maintain detailed logs of security activities, incidents, and observations * Control access points by verifying identification and issuing visitor passes as needed * Assist in loss prevention efforts by observing suspicious behavior and preventing theft or vandalism * Enforce company policies and safety procedures to uphold a secure environment * Provide assistance to staff and visitors as required, including directions or emergency response support
*Requirements*
* Security guard license and First aid CPR * *Valid Driver's License and Car* * *Minimum 1 year of experience* * Knowledge of CCTV operation and monitoring techniques * Strong observational skills with attention to detail * Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations * Excellent communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and accurately * Must be at least 18 years old with a clean background check
