Full-Time Overnight Security Guard
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable *Full-Time Overnight Security Guard* to help maintain safety and security across our premises. The successful candidate will monitor the property, control access points, conduct regular patrols, and respond appropriately to security incidents and emergencies.
This position is ideal for someone who is observant, dependable, calm under pressure, and committed to maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, contractors, and company assets.
Schedule
* *Monday through Thursday* * *10-hour overnight shifts per night* * Overnight availability is required.
Responsibilities
* Monitor security cameras and surveillance systems to identify suspicious activity, security breaches, or safety concerns. * Control access points by verifying identification and authorization for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors. * Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential hazards, unauthorized individuals, theft, vandalism, or other security concerns. * Respond promptly and appropriately to alarms, incidents, and emergencies. * Maintain accurate and detailed daily activity logs, incident reports, and security-check records in accordance with company procedures. * Communicate clearly and professionally with management, employees, visitors, emergency responders, and law enforcement when required. * Cooperate with local law enforcement and emergency personnel during incidents or investigations. * Apply loss-prevention practices to help safeguard company property, equipment, and other assets. * Report suspicious activity, safety hazards, property damage, or policy violations promptly.
Required Skills & Qualifications
* Strong understanding of security procedures and basic law-enforcement principles. * Experience monitoring *CCTV and other surveillance systems*. * Knowledge of loss-prevention and asset-protection practices. * Excellent observation and situational-awareness skills. * Strong written and verbal communication skills. * Ability to remain calm, professional, and composed during high-pressure situations. * Ability to conduct routine patrols and remain active throughout extended overnight shifts. * Dependable attendance and punctuality. * Ability to work independently while following established security procedures. * Previous security, loss-prevention, military, law-enforcement, or related experience is an asset.
Position Expectations
The Security Guard is expected to maintain a professional presence throughout the overnight shift, remain attentive to surveillance and site conditions, document activities accurately, and take appropriate action when security or safety concerns arise.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
