Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Janitor/Office Maintenance Handyman to keep our facilities clean, safe, and well-maintained. This energetic role involves performing cleaning duties, conducting minor repairs, and ensuring the overall upkeep of our office spaces and operational areas. Join our team to help create a welcoming environment that reflects our commitment to excellence and reliability. This position will begin in late November and will be scheduled Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The successful candidate should be comfortable handling both regular cleaning duties and basic maintenance or handyman tasks as they arise. Responsibilities
• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and restroom sanitation to maintain a pristine environment. • Conduct commercial cleaning of office spaces, break rooms, restrooms, kitchen, and common areas with attention to detail. • Carry out basic maintenance duties such as fixing leaks, replacing light bulbs, repairing fixtures, and addressing minor repairs around the facility. • Monitor the condition of facilities and report any safety hazards or maintenance needs promptly. • Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and ensure proper storage and usage of equipment. • Support overall facilities maintenance to ensure a safe, clean, and efficient workspace.
Requirements Requirements
• Prior experience in cleaning services or facilities maintenance is preferred but not required. • Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and safety standards. • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating basic maintenance tools. • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. • Reliable with a proactive attitude towards safety and cleanliness. • Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and report issues effectively.
