Aura Night Club is a brand-new Latin and Top 40 nightclub located in the heart of Downtown Kitchener. We pride ourselves on friendly service and creating a safe, welcoming, and memorable experience for our guests. We are currently building an in-house security team dedicated to maintaining the safety and security of our guests and staff!
*Job Description:*
We are looking for a reliable and proactive Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to handle various situations effectively and professionally.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Assist in opening the club * Ensure that IDs are properly checked for 19+ shows * Monitor and maintain safety and security of our guests and the venue * Conduct regular patrols of the premises to deter and detect any suspicious activity * Assist in crowd control and manage entry and exit points * Respond to emergencies and incidents promptly and effectively * Report any incidents or issues to the management team
*Qualifications:*
* Must be available to work Friday and Saturday nights * Minimum 1 year of security experience in a nightclub, bar, event, or similar environment required. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to stay calm and composed in high-pressure situations * Must hold a valid security guard license and smart serve license * Possesses both CPR and First Aid Certification
