Job Overview:
Top-Tier Painting is seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential and commercial painting and possess excellent communication skills. If you are detail-oriented, have a passion for restoring and enhancing surfaces, and enjoy working with hand tools, we want to hear from you.
Duties Include:
- Preparing surfaces for painting by cleaning, scraping, filling and sanding them
-Applying paint, varnish, stain or other coatings using brushes and rollers finishes to interior and exterior surfaces
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients ensuring satisfaction
-Following safety guidelines and using protective gear when required
-Maintaining a clean and organized work area
-Must be comfortable working on ladders and/or scaffolding to reach high areas
- Utilize time management skills to meet project deadlines
Qualifications:
- A minimum 5 years of experience in residential painting is required
- Proficiency with hand tools commonly used in painting projects
- Knowledge of drywall repair techniques is a plus
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
-Must have a valid drivers license and reliable mode of transportation to travel to job sites located within Newmarket, Aurora and the surrounding GTA.
-Working at heights certified
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00-$33.00 per hour
Education: * Secondary School (preferred)
Experience: * painting: 5 years (preferred)
