Romano?s Restaurant & Catering, an established family-owned Italian restaurant in Woodbridge, is looking for an experienced Grill Chef / Expediter to join our kitchen team.
This is a key weekend position for someone who is confident on the grill, works well under pressure and can help keep a busy dinner service organized and running smoothly.
Schedule:Friday & Saturday eveningsSunday lunch & dinnerWeekend availability is required.
Responsibilities:
* Work the grill station, preparing steaks, chicken, seafood and other menu items * Expedite during busy service and ensure dishes leave the kitchen accurately, consistently and on time * Coordinate with other kitchen stations to maintain smooth service * Assist with catering and event preparation when required * Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, cleanliness and food safety * Work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented kitchen
Requirements:
* Minimum 5?6 years of professional restaurant kitchen experience * Strong grill experience is essential * Experience expediting a busy full-service restaurant * Good knowledge of Italian cuisine * Catering experience is an asset * Food Handler Certification * Reliable, organized and calm under pressure * Strong communication and leadership skills during service * Must be available Friday, Saturday and Sunday
Compensation:Competitive hourly wage ? negotiable based on experience and skill level.
