About this role
*Overview* We are seeking a motivated and experienced Registered Dental Hygienist to perform a variety of dental hygiene. The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge in restorative care, a passion for patient care, and the ability to collaborate effectively with our dental team.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Provide routine dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing. * Conduct comprehensive periodontal assessments and charting. * Administer fluoride treatments and sealants. * Take and develop X-rays. * Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and home care instructions. * Assist with the preparation of restorative materials. * Maintain accurate patient records in accordance with HIPAA regulations. * Collaborate with dentists and other dental staff to develop and implement treatment plans. * Stay current on dental procedures and techniques, especially in restorative care. * Ensure all sterilization and infection control protocols are followed.
*Qualifications:*
* Valid Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in Canada. * Minimum [2] years of experience in a dental hygiene role, with a focus on restorative care. * Strong knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and sterilization techniques. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment. * Detail-oriented with excellent time management skills.
