About this role
*Seasonal Pool Technician ? Closing Helper* Pool Gurus · [Service area ? GTA] *$20?22/hour*, based on relevant experience *Full-time, seasonal:* now through [approx. end date, early November]
We clean and close residential swimming pools, and we're heading into our busiest stretch of the year. We're looking for someone hardworking, upbeat and resourceful to get us through the closing season.
*The work*
* Pool closings at residential properties. * On site and ready to work at *7:00 a.m., Monday to Saturday* ? pool days start early * Outdoors in whatever the weather is doing: heat, cold, rain * Physical: repeated lifting up to 50 lbs (covers, pumps and equipment are heavy), plus a lot of bending, kneeling and standing.
*What you need*
* A valid *G licence and a clean driving record* ? you'll be driving a company truck. We'll ask for a driver's abstract at the interview stage, not to apply. * An aptitude for handy work and solving problems as they come up * Reliability.
Pool experience is an asset but not required ? we'll train the right person. If you have worked with pools before, tell us briefly what you did.

This job is not easy. What it does offer is real skills in pool mechanics, plumbing and equipment repair that carry over to other trades, plenty of time outside, and the satisfaction of finishing a job properly. [Strong seasonal staff get first call when we open back up in the spring.]
