Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Construction site. Tasks: Load, unload and transport construction materials. Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction. Perform routine maintenance work. Help tradespersons, apprentices and other workers as directed. Help with the installation, the assembly, and repairs to equipment. Clean and maintain pipe units and fittings and flush system. Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement or soldering, brazing and welding equipment. Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges. Specialization or experience: Specialized environmental skills and knowledge. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Handling heavy loads.
