About this role
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Tasks: Accompany patients on outdoor recreational activities. Assist with cleaning, sterilizing, setting up and assembling of medical equipment. Assist with maintenance and repair of medical equipment. Supply and empty bed pans. Weigh, lift, turn and position patients. Deliver messages, reports, requisitions and specimens between departments. Make beds and maintain patients' rooms. Prepare patients for surgery by washing, shaving and sterilizing operative areas. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : First Aid Certificate. Nursing Aide Certificate. Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year. Health benefits: Health care plan.
