Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes interpreting administrative and procedural guidance to provide assistance to staff and students, utilizing Microsoft Office suite (e.g. Excel and PowerPoint) to create spreadsheets, statistical and demographic reports, presentations, etc.; uses various automated systems and computer applications such as, Training Management Information Systems, Identify Credential Access Management, Blackboard, etc.; gathering and compile data from various types of information to complete assignments; and establishing necessary controls to ensure compliance with governing regulations, directives, and policies. administrative and procedural guidance to provide assistance to staff regarding such as training, travel, telework, timekeeping, leave, inventory, and personnel procedures; ensuring leadership are informed of deficiencies and violations; utilizing automated systems to maintain files and records; establishing necessary controls to ensure compliance with governing regulations, directives, and policies. Proficiency Required: This position requires a qualified typist. A qualified typist can type 40 words per minute based on a 5 minute sample with three or fewer errors.
Major DutiesProvides administrative assistance in support of the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) theProponent-Sponsored Engineer Corps Training (PROSPECT) programs.Assists the registrars in determining the impact of current policy and/or work procedures on student enrollment and pre-course activities by providing feedback based on interaction with students, training coordinators, and instructional teams.Review academic and official documents regarding participant admissions, course enrollment and program completion.Prepares interpretive material in the form of graphs, diagrams, and charts for inclusion in statistical reports.Assists the Lead Training Administrator and Registrar Section by performing general administrative and logistical duties of the Admissions and Registration Sections.
