Job SummaryAbout the position: This position will be assigned to The Hub at Peterson Space Force Base located in Colorado Springs. This position may require shift work to provide coverage on evenings, weekends, holidays, or special situations Must be able to frequently lift objects weighing up to 40 pounds. Must be able to continuously stand, walk, and frequently stoop, reach, push pull, and bend for long periods of time.

Qualifying Experience: No prior experience is required. Ability to read and understand written material and be able to follow simple oral instructions. Ability to use hand tools for cleaning and operating simple machines. Ability to frequently lift or move objects weighing up to 20 pounds, and occasionally over 20 pounds with assistance. Ability to continuously stand, walk, stoop, reach, push and bend for long periods of time. Must be able to obtain a Food Handler's Certificate and/or complete food handler's training.
Major DutiesDuties and Responsibilities: Sets up glasses, silverware, dishes, trays, napkins, condiments and cold menu items (e.g., worktables, sinks and refrigerators.) Separates food waste and trash from dishes, glasses, and silverware in dishwashing area. Loads and operates dishwashers, stores clean dishes, glasses and silverware. Washes tables and counters, vacuums, and shampoos carpets. Sweeps and mops kitchen floors, cleans windows, washes walls and cleans and sanitizes trashcans. Sorts, washes, peel and cuts fresh fruits and vegetables. Performs other related duties as assigned.
