QualificationsYour resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Advising and providing technical assistance to customers regarding the application of federal staffing regulations, principles, concepts, and laws; advising management on the impacts of federal civilian classification and position management; and delivering written and oral communications to key stakeholders. Major DutiesYou will have contact with managers and supervisors at all levels of management including program officials and commanders.You will provide technical input as appropriate in resolving potential conflicts with classification principles and practices.You will advise management regarding the impact of reclassification or restructuring of positions may have on other positions within the organization.You will continually gather, interpret, and analyze large amounts of information related to the organizational functions, workload, and productivity.You will assist managers with planning and implementing reorganizations that typically involve major mission changes and realignments of all/most positions and personnel.You will review actions for accuracy and completeness prior t forwarding to the appropriate section for processing.
