Job Summary***ACCESS TO MEDICAL AND DENTAL CARE IN JAPAN IS EXTREMELY LIMITED. Please see Additional Information section below.*** You will serve as a SUPV REGIONAL COUNSELING ADVOCACY AND PREVENTION in the Fleet and Family Support Program (FFSP, N91) CNIC of COMMANDER, NAVAL REGION JAPAN.
QualificationsIn addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the grade level GS-13 or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: experience providing leadership, management, policy, program, and resource management expertise for the Counseling, Advocacy, and Prevention (CAP) programs, and providing execution to support the clinical services to the eligible installation population. Major DutiesYou will plan the work to be accomplished, sets and adjusts short-term priorities, and prepares work completion schedules.You will oversee and take appropriate action to ensure implementation of pertinent laws, instructions, policies, procedures, and standards at FFSP throughout the region.You will prepare reports, point papers, correspondence, and proposals regarding CAP matters.You will provide ongoing technical, clinical, and administrative guidance, consultation, and assistance regarding all aspects of CAP services to FFSP personnel and to other related personnel.You will Maintain ongoing coordination and collaboration with other regional Program Service Managers and FFSP personnel to address regional and Base Counseling and Advocacy service issues and community support issues.
