Job SummaryYou will serve as a TECHNICAL PROJECT MANAGER in the SURFACE WEAPONS & CEC E70, in the SENSORS WEAPONS & LAUNCHERS DEPT E00 of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.
QualificationsYour resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower grade level (ND-04 or GS 12/13 equivalency) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector leading developmental test and evaluation (DT&E) programs and systems engineering efforts within a defense acquisition lifecycle to execute test events, evaluate system performance, mitigate technical risks, and manage project resources and schedules for informing acquisition milestone decisions and delivering compliant, mission-ready combat systems. Major DutiesYou will lead the technical planning, execution, and oversight of all developmental testing activities across the project life cycle.You will apply advanced engineering principles to ensure all systems meet rigorous performance, safety, and operational standards.You will identify technical risks, evaluate test results, and deliver clear data-driven findings to guide leadership decisions.You will provide technical direction and project guidance to multidisciplinary engineering teams and external partners.You will manage project budgets, oversee long-range financial planning, and coordinate resource allocation to meet deadlines.You will serve as the primary technical point of contact for external partners and rapidly resolve high-priority requests.
