QualificationsResumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position. A qualified candidate must possess the following: 1. Applicant must have one year related experience in operating and performing minor maintenance on a field-type tractor and associated equipment. 2. Applicants must have and retain valid driver's license. 3. May be required to obtain a Government motor vehicle operator's permit NOTE: The above minimum qualifications must be described within the duties of previous work experience listed on the applicant's resume and/or supporting documents. A copy of all documents must be submitted at the time of application.
Major DutiesOperates tractors equipped with specialized attachments to perform aeration, topdressing, overseeding, and deep-tining across greens, tees, fairways, and roughs without damaging the manicured surface.Conducts daily safety and mechanical checks (including fluids, tire pressure, belts, and grease points) and reports mechanical issues immediately to the equipment manager to prevent costly field breakdowns.Safely operates heavy machinery on uneven terrain, steep slopes, and near water hazards, ensuring strict adherence to OSHA guidelines and course-specific safety protocols to prevent rollovers.Properly hooks up, calibrates, and adjusts various implements (such as spreaders, sprayers, and utility trailers) to ensure accurate application rates of seed, sand, or fertilizer.Assists the maintenance team by hauling soil, gravel, debris, and green waste across the property, utilizing utility trailers while minimizing soil compaction along designated haul routes.
