Job SummaryYou will serve as a HOUSING MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the MARINE CORPS INSTALLATION COMMAND of MARCORPSBARRACKS.
QualificationsYour resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Conducting housing property inspections; administering housing programs; conducting reviews for regulatory compliance; collecting, compiling, and analyzing data and reports; maintaining and updating database information; overseeing housing operations; evaluating compliance with established program requirements; evaluating financial information and maintenance requirements; and preparing plans and cost reports. Major DutiesYou will review various inspections of community rental properties to determine adequacy, habitability, and suitability for listing and referral.You will make studies and surveys of area ordinances and regulations governing community life and recommend new ordinances, regulations, or amendments to improve housing administrative policies.You will analyze and prepare statistical data for a variety of reports.You will serve as a point of contact for all housing stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient coordination on issues.You will work closely with all stakeholders to solve complex problems involving housing, residents, services, utilization, and designation of quarters for occupancy.You will serve as the Contracting Officer Representative (COR), responsible for the day-to-day management of contracts supporting housing functions, as required or appointed.
