Job SummaryYou will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the DIGITAL ENGINEERING DEPT of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER, PORT HUENEME.
QualificationsYour resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-03 (GS-09/10 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: performing logistics management operations that involve planning, executing, preparing, reviewing, coordinating or evaluating logistical actions to support new systems acquisition or sustainment programs. Major DutiesYou will function as a Logistician for the Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements in support of various programs at NSWC PHD.You will prepare, coordinate, and integrate the identification, development, acquisition and delivery of logistics requirements/resources for assigned programs.You will assist in development of supporting data and provides comprehensive logistics planning information, logistics plans, recommendations, alternatives, impact statements and letters of certification to program/project office.You will function as an IPS member, assisting IPS management personnel for programs assigned in support of technical and logistical services required for the accomplishment of tasks.You will develop and implement comprehensive IPS plans to identify actions, responsibilities and schedules to ensure that IPS is available throughout selective phases of a system life cycle.You will conduct verifications and certifications to provide that adequate parts and documentation are, in fact, available at the right time and place.
