QualificationsYour resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a professional engineer performing rapid prototyping design and fabrication of hardware and assemblies in support of the development, sustainment, or in-service engineering of a warfare system. Major DutiesYou will work with and lead project teams supporting new technology insertion of state of the art repair and fabrication solutions to address sustainment challenges and obsolescence and material support issues.You will design/develop mechanical hardware and assemblies, accomplishes circuit board layout, and participates in design initiatives for special projects.You will provide engineering support for shop machining and welding processes, implement automated equipment, and develops processes, fixturing, and tooling for laser and robotic applications.You will plan and schedule workload execution, and coordinate/or conduct a project or detailed phase of a larger project.You will provide technical direction, advice, guidance, and leadership in support of industrial technology initiatives, rapid prototyping, production engineering, and concurrent engineering.
