Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes using automated systems to track and report operational requirements; applying policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements to production activities; preparing standard operating procedures based on operational requirement. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09). Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-09).
Major DutiesAnalyzes production and capacity data to identify workload trends, discrepancies, and resource shortfalls.Analyzes ammunition workload, determining proper planning, acquisition, and supportPerforms duties such as monitor and report on the status and progress of workManages production and workload data to support accurate reporting and operational planning.Performs duties such as develop and finalize detailed Standing Operating Procedures (SOP) and hazard analysis for an installationMonitors reports for production accomplishments and scheduling issues with higher level assistanceMonitors production management systems to support accurate workload tracking and operational planning.Reviews assets in storage to determine which items and condition codes are candidates for renovation or demilitarization programDetermines Ammunition Peculiar Equipment (APE) needed and available, including any requirement for modification or over haulApplies production policies and regulatory requirements to ensure ammunition operations comply with established standards.Performs duties such as prepare and submit solicited and unsolicited bids for workloadAnalyzes production problems such as short falls in common delivery, maintenance operations, and shut down and other delays
