About this role
Help build high-tech systems as an assembly worker at VDL MPC in Amersfoort. You will earn €17,07 gross per hour and work Monday to Friday from 06:00 to 15:45. We are looking for experienced metal fabrication and assembly technicians to join a leading company in the defense industry. In this role, you will be responsible for manufacturing and assembling metal housings and structural components used in advanced defense systems. What are you going to do? As an assembly worker, you will build high-quality modules and systems for the defence and high-tech industries, among others. Using technical drawings and work instructions, you will ensure that every component is assembled accurately. Your duties will include: - Assemble and fit metal housings and structures according to technical drawings and specifications. - Drill holes and create cutouts in metal components. - Cut, saw, and shape metal parts to the required dimensions. - Perform basic milling and machining operations. - Spot weld, tack weld, or join metal components as required. - Modify metal parts to accommodate internal components, wiring, and assemblies. - Inspect finished parts to ensure compliance with quality standards and technical requirements. - Work in accordance with safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures.
