Data Governance Lead Req Id: 23901 Job Family: Data Management Location: Rotterdam Office, NL Porto, PT, 4100-136 Additional Location: Description: Purpose - As a Data Governance Lead, you support Data Governance Manager in the development and implementation of data governance frameworks. - Ensure data quality, compliance, ownership, stewardship, and security while managing data governance teams. - Collaborate with stakeholders to establish policies and processes that enhance data management and integrity. - Support and enable cross-company data strategy and objectives. Responsibilities - Lead the development and implementation of data governance policies, ensuring data quality, security, and compliance with industry standards and regulations. - Collaborate with data owners, stewards, and stakeholders to establish governance frameworks and best practices. - Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for data policies, procedures, and standards. - Monitor compliance with data governance policies and address any issues or breaches promptly. - Provide training and support to team members and stakeholders on governance practices and tools. - Conduct regular audits and reviews of data governance processes to measure effectiveness and continuous improvement. - Guide the implementation and maintenance of data quality processes, including data profiling, data cleansing, and data validation. - Support Data Governance Manager to coordinate with IT and data management teams to ensure governance requirements are integrated into data architecture and systems. - Develop and enforce data stewardship practices, ensuring accountability and ownership of data assets across the organization. - Monitor and report on data governance metrics and KPIs to assess progress, providing recommendations for improvements. - Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data governance and apply this knowledge to enhance the organi...
